Noticed a lot of thinly veiled marijuana references around here lately, so I thought it'd be interesting to set up a poll.

I don't, but I have been classified as a "damn foreigner." Religious reasons are the only reason I can see to avoid recreational use.

Had to pick "Back in the day, yes, but I've given it up for adulthood".

Hey man I live in the Netherlands, nearly everybody did it atleast once while in their teens.

Is this 'cos I mentioned 'doobies' a couple of times?
The answer is 'yes', but not very often - I just had the urge recently.

yeah teens who do it are highly likely to be screwed. Young adults may be as well.

I chose option 5. Alcohol is enough for me.

Or for frequent heavy users of alcohol, or binge fastfood-ers (currently slated to be a generation in which many die before their parents.) Teens are not a sensible time to do anything with longterm side-effects to excess. Hell, excess is bad full stop.

If I'm smoking passively anyway, I've no objection to getting more benefit from the situation. I don't normally smoke cigarettes unless I'm very, very pissy...

So you used to smoke an eighth a day, or you spent an eighth of each day smoking?

And what's yago? Some new sort of yogurt?

Are you sure you're not high right now?

Probably 2 to 3 times a year, if even. Sometimes the mood is just right and someone happens to have some. I find it goes well with a game of midnight croquette in the backyard.

Dammit! I was going to do that joke. I'll be here all week too - strangely, the toilet will be blocked at the same time. Coincedence? I think not.

Although not hardly as much in the last year or so. There was a big drop off. Now it's once in a blue moon.

I had a huge stash of grass and resin from a mate when I moved from the area two years ago. It's nearly all gone now, so I may give up. Or give him a visit. ;)

I tried it only once, when EmVee was visiting and we went to Amsterdam.

It was a strawberry milkshake with hash, yum! :)

Apparently, there are some good coffeeshops in the city where I live. One has a Simpsons pinball machine.

Not the 'Topic' chocolate bar, kingmob. Mmm... do they still make those?
 I'm being informed by the missus that they still do and are expensive, and therefore a treat. Apparently.

On that subject, I used to like the munchie-run to the 24 hour garage when I was a kid. It was about the only time I eat a decent amount.
And the till person was always so patient as we tried to read the list of stuff we wanted to her. Sometimes they even took it through the slidy drawer thing and assembled it when we were too baked to get through saying "fudge doughnut".

Fave munchy, anyone?

Yorkies are good. I'm trying to give up chocs tho as I'm turning into a fatty. I recently got back into Mars bars (when younger they're just boring aren't they). Also big up the Wispa and mint Aero.

I read a newspaper article once about a solidified rat being found in a Topic bar. That kinda put me off.

In regards to the poll... blue moon for me. I dabble, but not regularly.

That coffeeshop is awesome! One of the nicest bars of any kind I've ever been in.

an 8th? a 10th - they are solid measures - up to a 'bar' which is also a '9-bar' which is 9 ounces of solid.

My friend got stopped with 14 kilos of solid - and has only recently been released from jail...

Yago = cocain - Yago being the columbian term for it, made famous in such films as Scarface.

Do employers in the UK check for traces of dope in the blood, and if so, does that prevent a prospective employee's chances of being hired?

The UK hasn't pissed away its civil liberties to quite the same extent as the US.
