thought i'd share this for my fellow scifi fans.

If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

it's very interesting. basicly, it's steampunk meets startrek. and since i've recently developed an appreciation of victorian scifi, {mainly through an exposure to this: http://www.blease.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/WG.aeronef.html , as well as this: http://www.brigademodels.co.uk/NoFrames/IS/index.html }, and i think this a fair combination of the two. anyone have an opinon?
i had a longer, involved statement here, but it all comes down to this:

Freedom is the right of all sentient beings, as is justice, peace, and rebelion. and these rights must be protected at all costs.
