If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

As a dear friend would say: "Joyous day in which some time ago you fell out of your mother."
Or as I always say: "Everyone gets older... ..........you go first."
Muchas gracias to Mob for the Sig, proving why he's called 'King'.
The "i" in "Señior" from "Señior's Covenant" is intentional and part of a stupid & cheesy inside joke from '02. Thank you for your concern.

Happy Birthday, sir. To another glorious year of existence.

Same age as me again, eh?
Well, I'll soon put pay to that!

Nothing so complicated (or energetic), I'm afraid.
I'm just going to wait until May, then have a birthday.
That'll teach 'em!

Ah, optimism. You could get hit by a bus tomorrow, y'know.

A very unusual bus, that'd have to be, then, considering tomorrow is sunday, and I doubt I'll be going anywhere a bus might find itself.
Nope. There's little chance of my being hit by a bus, neither directly nor indirectly.
And, I also know exactly what you mean.

There are buses on a Sunday (well, HERE there is - you could have one of those).
And there's nothing to stop a bus going through your front wall.
I'm going to stop this now 'cos it sounds like I want to kill you with a bus.
Which I don't.
Too public.

My house is on a bus route. About a decade ago, one careered off the icy road and into my garden wall.
Tomorrow, I will probably have an entire house and backgarden between me and possible killer buses, and therefore will feel reasonably comfortable in my presumed safety.
Monday, however, I'll be fending them off like bees in a hive!

Interesting.
However, let's hold that thought until Dave is 28 + some number significantly larger than 1, shall we?
