This is going to take a while.
I can't believe the 'bad' taste of some of the voters. Lady Death sexier than She-Hulk?? That Lady Death is a tramp, that's all.
I must say that it's quite difficult at times to vote. Rogue is da bomb btw.
And Psylocke, her UK-form is kewl too. Sue Richards is naught but class.

I suspect all those likely to agree with my tastes are also as disinclined to vote...
Anyone read "Everyday Magic" to recommend it?

I suppose everybody's entitled to their opinion Impy...
Me like green.
And Denyer, I just realised who that girl in your Avy was. I have been wondering for some time, first, "is it a girl?" and afterwards, "where from?". I noticed the Union Jack, but still kept wondering, recently I realised that she looked as if she was drawn by Hitch, and hence I thougth she was from Ultimates.
I could never for the life of me understand from where in it she was tho. Now I've seen the epiphany that she's from the Authority. Never read any of that crazy stuff.

Totally had to vote for Power Girl - just because the 'holding 'em' pic was so amusing (and strangely compelling).
Also just noticed that Danger Girl looks worryingly like a character that I've got in my book (I do designs to help me visualise as I write). I'll have to find the pic and post it so you can see the twin-syndrome.
And has Miss Frost got a... package!?

And I can respect that.saysadie wrote:The fact that she's hot and was (is? Teacher? Wha?) dressed in next to nothing isn't a bad thing either.
Muchas gracias to Mob for the Sig, proving why he's called 'King'.
The "i" in "Señior" from "Señior's Covenant" is intentional and part of a stupid & cheesy inside joke from '02. Thank you for your concern.

Yeah, Emma Frost by, say, Chris Bachalo (not modelled on Ms Anderson with the addition of peroxide, collagen and cameltoe) has a lot of charm. Pretty much all of the characters have been drawn well by someone at least once.
Nice main page thumbnails for Donna Troy and Kitty. From the books mentioned, no Angie, Willow, Thess or Delirium.
Whilst we're here, can anyone explain why Black Widow doesn't look fifty given that she was a kid during World War 2? (Madripoor Knights, set in 1941.)
Tough choice between Barbara Gordon and Donna Troy...
Agreed... it'll come down to readership. Or vote-stuffing.

She has the bad-girl thing down, possibly even more-so than Catwoman.Who the hell voted that many times for Harley-Quinn!!!!

It's Warren Ellis as a girl of ninety.Denyer, I just realised who that girl in your Avy was. I have been wondering for some time, first, "is it a girl?"
WoW. U DeCIDE!!1 indeed.
I really dislike Greg Horn's cheesecake covers.
Black Widow most likely uses the Infinity Formula to retard her aging process. Nick Fury is also an imbiber. I think that's the standard 'explain away the aging thing' for most characters who have non-lifespan affecting abilities or histories.
Kitty Pryde is about the only other character there I find notable, and that's due mainly to the way Ellis wrote her in Excalibur. I did rather enjoy the Kitty/Pete Wisdom stuff.
edit: oh yeah, I'm afraid I haven't read that Zatanna book, but find her stories to be generally of decent quality, and her interaction with Constantine provides some good dialogue.
Are you following the current mini? It's quite interesting.
Oh yes, that halloween issue of Gen X in particular is one I remember, where Emma Frost is visited by thon Nightmare chappie. It has some rather fantastic Bachalo art, both in the Emma scenes and in the random, somewhat bizarre story that plays out around the panel borders.Denyer wrote:Yeah, Emma Frost by, say, Chris Bachalo (not modelled on Ms Anderson with the addition of peroxide, collagen and cameltoe) has a lot of charm. An interesting thing, while we're on that subject...the character on that list who I was most interested in upon reading a story featuring them for the fist time js Jessica Jones, whose creator, Brian Michael Bendis, has said, and I paraphrase 'is him as a girl if he lived in the Marvel U'.Denyer, I just realised who that girl in your Avy was. You know, going over the images there, and given the contest, I'm surprised at some of the art used. A lot of it's rather ho-hum.
