Has Dylan moved to Norway in hopes of becoming... something Norwegian?
Is Computron really god?

Who's studying and who's rich?

Yeah, I'm the same actually. Gave most of my TFs to my brother... Kept a few that I couldn't part with, but for the most part I'm done with 'em I think. Music's my main geeky thing now.
I miss Compy and Dylan! But hope they're doing fabulous.

I'd like to give it all up because of the cost and crappy cartoons, but big robots (and dirty jokes) is what I write about. Without TF I wouldn't have started my book - so I feel I owe them something - if only a little leeway with their occasional crapness.
I HAVE cut down on the toy-buying though. But if I could afford it I'd be right back. I don't have much other life unfortunately.

The new cartoons I don't pay much attention to anyway.
Toys are....meh. I don't buy Armada/Energon/Cybertron with the exception of the Op/Meg figures. I like G1, but I'll wait until I'm in my career to start blowing money on that crap. Well, I do buy Takara Bookstyles. And Alternators.
But comics! That's where it's at! Who CAN'T afford a few bucks a month for some TF art and fiction? Even if there was nothing else, I'd still buy the comics.

Pat Lee and the word prick in the same sentence. How appropriate.Autobloke wrote:(Pat Lee pricks up ears)Shanti418 wrote: Even if there was nothing else, I'd still buy the comics.
I can understand not being able to do the whole fan thing financially. I'm in that boat really. But I'm far from renouncing my interest and participation in TFs all together.
Muchas gracias to Mob for the Sig, proving why he's called 'King'.
The "i" in "Señior" from "Señior's Covenant" is intentional and part of a stupid & cheesy inside joke from '02. Thank you for your concern.

And I thought I was being too subtle with that.Señior's Covenant wrote:Pat Lee and the word prick in the same sentence. How appropriate.
Well, I'm here, ain't I? Perhaps the new movie will spark my nips enough to revive my 'va va voom' (that's my alt mode revving).Señior's Covenant wrote:I can understand not being able to do the whole fan thing financially. Well, I definetly think there's room for people who love the mythology and the characters, but don't feel the burning desire to run out and buy things like Kicker, Energon Six Shot, and Battle Ravage.Autobloke wrote:And I thought I was being too subtle with that.Señior's Covenant wrote:Pat Lee and the word prick in the same sentence. I know when I look at my Alternators, I'm like, "Wow, those are pretty f***** cool. I don't know about $250 cool, but pretty f***** cool."
