The god damn sailing in the god damn Wind breaker.

The god damn sailing in the god damn Wind breaker.

This is so ******* boring and annoying.
I sailed half across the ******* map to meet some dude. When I get there they tell me "Sorry, he's not here. He's moved to the island on the other side of the map".
So I have to ******* sail the whole ******* way back.
Allthough I didnt, I just flipped of the god damn gamecube and cut the power.

Please, for the love of god, tell me that you'll get some sort of teleportation power later on in the game?!
Can't believe I'm still here.

Yeah, I had to quit playing it because the sailing was just so boring.

BORING!!! With the cannonballs, and the deep sea mining, and the blue blue nothingngess.

And I had just gotten past the part where you first find Hyrule, too.

Sorry for bringing this old topic back.

A week ago I deicided to quit playing this game.
It's boring, and it's repetitive.
"Go to this island. Get stuff. Go to that island -> use stuff.
Go to that island -> explore dungeon -> get weapon -> kill boss using weapon".

It's the same crap over and over and over again.

And yes, that's true to most games.
In Final Fantasy VII all you do is explore -> and fight. Basically.
But in FF VII there actually was a plot that caught my interest. I wanted to know what was gonna happen next.

In Wind Waker, I just get the feeling that there's no plot whatsoever. It's just me sailing around the boring world, doing the same crap over and over again.

So [composite word including 'f*ck'] it. [composite word including 'f*ck'] wind waker. And [composite word including 'f*ck'] gamespot, who gave wind waker a 9.3 score.
This wasnt worth the money I spent on it.

Over and out.
Can't believe I'm still here.

I don't know why but I was reading it as Wind Wanker for awhile there.

That sounds like a fun game. Wind Wanker.

Er... what do you envisage happening exactly?

I am currently massively addicted to SW KOTOR on the X-Box, to the point that i played it for about 20 hours last weekend and loved everu second of it.

hoo ha.

Link to the past
and
Ocrina of time

are the best Zelda games ever made... so far.

Wind Walker was a funny old thing, I could see the typical brillance shine through it, but it was to far removed from normall Zelda for me to fall in love, somthing didnt feel right.
The sailing didnt bother me to much.

I feel dirty for not completing it whilst in the finnal dungeon - which has a very very cool twist to it...

I loved it at first, but for me these days getting enough time to play games can be quiet rare so the saling bugged the crap out of me. I also thought some stuff wasn't quite intuitive enough.

Think Link to the Past is still my fave.

link to the past is so well balanced - its easier i guess to create puzzles in 2D then it is in 3D, yet OoT did it so well...

WW has classic zelda moments but to many annoying moments i guess.

Saying that, have u seen the island that is in fact a nintindo museam? thats very cool - it has lots of rooms that takes ages to open, as u have to collect lots of things to do so, but i like it.

if anyone isnt to fussed ill spoil the end dungeon for you?

well one of the islands u go sailing by is a big tower, after you fix the tower u get a big beam of light that takes u under the sea...

Down there you enter Hyrule! - yes the orginal palace town, at first everything is in black and white, and u are in colour, very cool. ppl are frozen in time, and u can just walk around them... yet u cannot leave hyrule castle... yet.

after u have collected everything u need for the finnal dungeon, the gates in Hyrule open up and your walking around in a place not to different from Hyrule in Ocrina of time or link to the past. - you head up the finnal path to the giant hyrule castle and enter the finnal dungeon - id like to tell u how it ends but i only did half of it.

damn you!

still... playing kotor should tide me over until payday... hmmm...

kotor II is good, but buggy and a bit rushed and editted at the end, some nice improvements over Kotor I tho in the engine tho.

In my KOTOR game, I just finished most of the stuff of Tatooine (which is the first place I went after the Jedi training stuff), and then for some inexplicable reason, I put it down and have been playing some GTA San Andreas.

That is inexplicable, although tatooine can be a bit frustarting if you don't have enough cash.

I will probably get KOTOR 2, altho lookinga the box the plot is a bit irritating - you are the only Jedo left! Surely this rather undermines your achievements in the previous game if you played it all lightside like?

Then again i guess i should finish this one before i draw that conclusion.

i still say the the end boss battle from that game is one of the best boss fights ever. but then, i love simple, one on one fights, particularly ones involving simple sword battles.
i had a longer, involved statement here, but it all comes down to this:

Freedom is the right of all sentient beings, as is justice, peace, and rebelion. and these rights must be protected at all costs.

best thing about kotor is when you mod the game so if you play as a female pc you still get to have the 'romance' with Bastilla! ;-)

what?... :swirly:
