Reviews of Ep iii

If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

I was surprised how many were good... particularly Variety's assertion that it is the best since Empire.

Will not read review, nor anything more. Seen two previews and that's enough. Every little bit more will be revealed when I go to see this the Saturday after next. Good to hear of good reviews.

Muchas gracias to Mob for the Sig, proving why he's called 'King'.

The "i" in "Señior" from "Señior's Covenant" is intentional and part of a stupid & cheesy inside joke from '02. Thank you for your concern.

Sprunk, you should catch Ewan 'Obi-Wan' McGregor in Guys&Dolls whilst you're in London (tenuous link).

i've thought about it, though I'm not much of a musical fan. I heard his best show was like five or six years ago, called 'Little Malcolm Versus the Eunuchs.'

Though I did see his fellow Trainspotter in Someone Who'll Watch Over Me. It was good.

Got a parents evening tomorrow night and I'm going straight after.

My wanker of a best friend claimed to have booked tickets for 12:30 tonight but actually he didn't.
I couldn't get a reason out of him as to why he hadn't actually booked or why the f### he said he had when he hadn't.

How the hell can you can you'll booked us tickets when you basically haven't?
Am I missing something here?

What annoying is I could have easily done it myself in 3 minutes while we were still on the phone. Some people are retards.

Two thumps up, equalling about 3 1/2 stars from Ebert and Roeper...I'm going to buy an advance ticket for one of the shows this weekend in a couple hours.

Got back a wee while or so, I really enjoyed it.
There are some bits I thought were ropey, sure...3 or so in particular. But I had a great time at the showing, the crowd were ace and I came out on a high.
Haven't really thought about it critically yet, but I did enjoy it a lot.

Talking of reviews, Time Out called it 'fair to middling.'

Anyway, I can make up my own mind in 5.5 hours... :)

I think it'll be pretty good, but saying it's as good as ESB is a tad premature?

I remember walking out of Clones thinking it was incredible, only to think critically about it a few days later and come to the conclusion that I was clearly nuts.

Should still be good tho.

Indeed. It's an awesome experience to watch at the cinema but comparisions while this one is still new in our minds should be saved.

Bringing balance to the debate? You must be the chosen one!

Can I interest you in a career in the dark side? You get your own reserved parking space, and all the lackies you can force-strangle! :D

Q: How do you approach so dark and Satanic a character as Chancellor Palpatine?

A: Well, for those who didn't see Return Of The Jedi, I just played a straightforward politician - charming, smiling, out for the good of the universe. But underneath that there lurks a monster. So it was very easy to build the character - I just looked in the newspapers.
