After years of being able to resist, I've actually been (sob) buying Star Wars stuff. Anyone else find the lure of the Episode III swag irresistable? I've got the Vader voice changer/helmet (which makes a sweet display piece) as well as both deluxe Vader figures (Anakin with Vader armor and Operating Table Vader.) I'm probably going to buy the other Anakin and Vader figures as well. But where does it stop? Vader light saber? Other SW figures to pose in "battle" with the Anakin/Vader figures I'm buying? WHERE DOES IT END?!?!
(Side note, I haven't bought a Transformer in close to a year, toy withdrawl perhaps?)
Oh, also bought the CD/DVD thing with all the music videos on it. NICE!

Weird... the only SW swag I have is Episode 1. Darth Maul, Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan. Only the Jedis are normal figures and the Sith is the push-button-action one, I'm considering getting these three other figures to complement them (push-button QUi-Gon and Obi-Wan, normal poseable Darth Maul.)
When I ever get started on my photo comic I'll have them dueling all over the room. Fighting on the toilet seat and whatever.

Back in the day I had figure collections; old, old figs and the POTF line. When I moved I chose to sell that which remained in favor of my TF collecting, which similarly I have departed from. I'm debating starting to sell some of my guys, even.
I'm trying not to get too caught up in EP 3 for fear of disappointment(outside of the lightsaber fight and the PG-13 rating, which give me hope).

I'm still not loving the new figures.
I collected some POTF, EP I and Episode II figures (including some of the re-releases of the classic figures), but these new ones just don't do anything for me. Probably a good thing, 'cause they 'spensive.
It's probably because I'm getting old. I was down B&Q the other day, and actually realised that I 'could remember when this was all fields'. Bugger.

From what I've seen, the battle between Obi Wan and Anakin looks to be surprisingly powerful emotionally, and not just a bunch of techno-garbage that marked most of Episode 1 and 2.
Midichlorians.

I've never brought SW toys. I alwasy wanted to but I can barely keep up with ocassional G1 purchases let alone a 30 year toy line with another 30+ figures and ships and such just out.
