Coldplay - Speed of Sound

I'm a bit underwhelmed. It lacks the punch I would expect from a comeback song, although I have heard that the album is stunning.

I think its quite nice. Better than 'In My Place' (an inferior 'Yellow' IMO) that was their comeback single last time.

They do need to stretch themselves more though (can they?). I'm expecting big things from the new album.

It's definately growing on me.

I think 'In my place' was a great come back single. Its far from their best song but sounds like a triumphant return. The way it kicks in makes you take notice and it would never have worked as their 2nd or 3rd single.
