Just got back from the first tournament I've gone to in years. Competitive martial arts are such a thrill for me; I don't know why I haven't gone to one in so long. Made it to the finals in the Olympic Sparring competition and did quite well in the breaking competition as well. 3 boards, 10 seconds.
One problem though. I'm not a very good teacher. The guy I've been training went insane during his match. He was nearly disqualified for using excessive force (not recommended at the white belt level) during the entire match. He wound up costing himself so many points that, even though he dominated the match, he lost and left the building in a huff. The other guy I trained hasn't been back since I taught him how to fight like a killer (and subsequently maimed him).
Overall, it was a pretty good day.

I've never been seriously injured. Not sure about the lean part (that takes all kinds of effort), but I could definately turn you into a mean killing machine with minimal effort.spiderfrommars wrote:Ever got any bad injuries?
And could you turn me into a lean mean killing machine? I fight like a girl.
