Moving out of manchester this weekend. Finding the whole thing v emotional.
House Clearance company offered me £150 for just about all the furniture. ha. Not got much option but to take it though...
Meeting the ex for coffee tomorrow... probably not a good idea. sigh.
****ing hate all this. Wish it was all a bad dream.
Sorry to vent.

Mmm, I think I'd be staying away from ex until move was over and all settled, assuming the plan was to keep any kind of contact. If it wasn't, would be more up for saying goodbyes.
*hug*
Considering the sum involved, is there a refuge charity that you could just give it to, save it going into the hands of profiteering bastards?Best First wrote:House Clearance company offered me £150 for just about all the furniture. ha. Not got much option but to take it though...

FOr 8 weeks now me and my ex have been in an emotional roller coaster, on wednesday she got a bit drunk, and we were all having a laugh, then went potty, now she never wants to see me again, for no apparent reason.
Were going to meet to say goodbye as I need closure if shes really going to leave me.
I love her with every part of my body, I think about dying alot.

As long as you're just thinking and not doing. I'm used to be clinically depressed, now I'm just generally depressed, so things WILL get better.Impactor returns 2.0 wrote:I love her with every part of my body, I think about dying alot.
Also, when you say every part of your body, does that include stuff like knees and bellybutton?

i did look into it briefly to no real avail - i don't have enough time. The whole thing has been made a lot harder by only being here the occasional weekend. Plus the £150 just about covers the van hire to get all the toys and comics (and some other stuff) that i want to sell down to woking.Considering the sum involved, is there a refuge charity that you could just give it to, save it going into the hands of profiteering bastards?Best First wrote:House Clearance company offered me £150 for just about all the furniture. ha. If nothing else, I think I'm a ****** sound judge of a character.
You are both ******* diamond as far as I can see. I'm awful at giving advice, I only hope it works out well for you.
tough it out chaps, you've demonstrated time and again that when on song you are total magicians - beat your problems and you'll both get back to kicking ass.
I have a tendancy to trivialise problems, as I am a ****. In fact, I think I am doing that right now so I'll leave off.

I'd fly in for that, but I won't go naked.
I'll bring a camera though.
I'm just as **** for giving advice as snarl says he is, but I feel much the same way he does about the both of you. You're both excellent people imo [though I don't actually know you in person, I think I know you guys well enough to say that].
I really do wish both of you all the best and just wish I could do something to really help out.
(I also wish I could do better than basically post a "me too" post-but it's a completely honest one. The one I posted first just didn't convey anything properly enough for me.)
*hugs* to the both of you guys.

Lord knows, half the time i reckon GD should be renamed to Venting Central and i think that given the current circumstances you're fully justified in feeling the need to rant, there's nothing to apologuise for!
Good luck dude, hope all's gone well!

oof.
so its done. Turns out i own quite a lot of toys... my shoulders ache.
Seeing the ex was a bit of a head ****. We ended up spending 2 hours together and got on really well - it was a bit like we were back to being ourselves again after the train wreak that was last year. And the attraction i still there. So thats kind of confusing, but we talked a lot and i think it helped lay a few things to rest - of course in the short trem at least i am missing her more again but i think in this case maybe thats a price worth paying... hopefully. I'm feeling less bitter about a lot of stuff.
So...new chapter.
But one suspects with some continuing plot threads.
thanks everyone.
