I think it goes without saying that it's unappealing on a female.
Unless you like that sort of thing.
"Some trails are happy ones,
Others are blue.
It's the way you ride the trail that counts,
Here's a happy one for you.
Happy traaaaaaails to you until we meet again.
Happy traaaaaaails to you, keep smilin' until then.
Who cares about the clouds when we're together?
Just sing a song and bring the sunny weather.
Happy trails to you 'till we meet again. .."

Maybe in the summer season at the beach.
I think I don't really mind/care if yes or no. It can be sexy, it can be icky, depending on the boy and on the hair.
Plus it does not say anything about nighttime performance.

Can't say it would really bother me. Some women are hairier than others, but they're still women, right? Just look at the fuss when Julia Roberts forgot to shave her armpits...OMG!!! A WOMEN CAN GROWS HAIR UNDER HER ARMZ!!!11 WAT IZ TEH WORLD COMING TOO?!!?!!?!1@Autobloke wrote:I'd be kinda concerned if my woman had a 'trail' that went right up to her bellybutton.
All I can say is that you'll go a long way before you find one that is naturally hairless in all the places western society expects them to be, and I think part of growing up is understanding that.
I would have waited a ******* eternity for this!!!!

Personally, I think my happy trail RULES!!
On girls, though....very, very horrible. very horrible.
There's this one girl I used to room with who all my friends thought was sooo hot, but I saw that she had a happy trail one time, and that was it. Platonicness all around.
So here's a thought:
My opinion on hair is that girls should have as little arm/leg/stomach/facial/pit hair as possible, while guys should be able to do whatever they want.
Now that's obviously sexist and stupid, yet I can't help it: that is what I've been socialized to find attractive, at least on the girl side of things. On the guy side of things, I personally shave my head and face all the time, and I like to perfrom upkeep on the ol' wedding tackle whenever it need be.
What do girls think about the shaving double standard? If it were "in" or attractive or hot to not shave at all, would you not shave at all? Do you see all your body hair removal as a burden dumped upon you by modern standards of attractiveness? Or do you like being hairless in some areas out of your own taste?

Honestly, about half and half. I started shaving cause society (and the current boyfriend) wanted me to. When we broke up, I kept doing it cause I liked the way it felt. I guess society does condition us to think "girls+hair=icky!!" So, I don't know.Shanti418 wrote: What do girls think about the shaving double standard? It's stupid, this double standard.
Even more stupid that boys can do more or less 'whatever they want'. I want to see more clean shaven boys! Though I don't much mind body hair.
If girls could do whatever they want too, that would be a good thing. I am not going to shave my whole body anyway! I would be very happy if I did not have to shave as much.

I associate shaving with bad porn and American media (okay, so the second statement is a bit redundant.) If someone actually preferred it, I'd be okay as long as it was frequent enough to not result in tonguefuls of stubble.

Eh, I have to trim my thatch back every so often 'cause otherwise I just end up with pants full of hair. And without getting too graphic, trimming the hair on my rear is absolutely essential for hygeine reasons...otherwise the only bit of my body that gets shaved regularly is my face.
I would have waited a ******* eternity for this!!!!

We're probably describing the same porn—I just don't get the interest with peroxide, surgery, fake nails, lace, panda eyeliner, etc. Razor rashes and ingrowing follicles don't do anything to pretty that up.
It overlaps into magazine and newspaper photos; shots either have to be taken from a considerable distance or airbrushed to achieve 'smooth' skin. Why exalt things as standards when even the people you're holding up as standards can't achieve them?
Can't see it as anything other than harmful.

I'm a totally hairy sonnovabitch, and unfortunately, just this side if ginger - but not much. If it's really bright sun, my hair takes on a light orange tinge, which I hate. I used to have long hair, but I'd look like a ginger Jesus 'cos I also had a full beard (yeah, I just wanted to have the p*** taken out of me back then).
I've since discovered the joys of shaving my head (mmm... smooth) and my beard is now a goatee which is about five inches long (makes my head look thinner). From the neck down however: tropical rainforest amounts of hair.
My current woman loves it, but I had so much trouble from girls in the past. No way was I going to wax though - expensive, painful and ongoing.
I hope my woman never leaves me 'cos I'll probably never find another that likes to run her fingers through my back hair (feels the shudders of a repulsed nation/planet).
Just in case: Girls - is it SO BAD to be a hairy bloke? It means we're virile y'know...

I shave my head out of necessity, and I shave my face because I can't for the life of me grow a beard or a goatee. I am a complete failure when it comes to growing hair on my face.
If I could shave my ass and balls WITHOUT having to shave my legs, I'd do it. But if I didn't shave my whole lower body, I'd just look like a fool. And that's NOT cool. So stay in school.
