No internet connection!

If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

No internet connection!

Last thursday our easter holiday started - when I got home I noticed that my internet connection was dead (long story).
So I've been without a internet connection since last thursday (I am currently at work) and I wont get it back in like eight days.

But man it was great. I actually did stuff :eek:
I played Burnout 3. Watched movies I bought but never seen. Etc.
I even went to a super market and bought vegetables and stuff.

The only downside is that I didnt have a friggin clue about what was going on in the world (I dont get any newspaper or stuff like that).
And I couldnt pay my bills / check my account.

I'm not an internet junkie or something like that - I just like to kill time in front of the computer until my mates arrive.
But it's better to kill time by reading a book, or actually play the games you spent money on.

That is all... :p

I myself am usually less able to cope with a similar situation.
