I'm full up with the flu at the moment, problem is as I'm giving up smoking my chest has packed in on me (I got a date Thursday too, hope it clears by then. I'm not pretty on the eyes or ears at the moment)
Anyway, I've called the Doc's to get a repeat perscription of the anti-biotics I had last time I had a chest infection. I then went to the chemist to get something for my cough.
I didn't look at what it was when I left. But when I got home I notest it was Ipecac and Morphine mixture. Now isn't Morphine addictive, i'm not sure I want to take this.
I've checked on Google, couldn't find any info on the mixture but Morphine does not sound good.

Morphine is primarily a painkiller, but you can easily become dependant on it (of course this depends on the individual).
Any painkiller can be addictive, as can just about any drug... but if you've got any worries, I'd say to have a word with your doc.
Ipecac info - http://www.drugs.com/MMX/Ipecac.html
Seemingly used to induce vomiting... dunno if the morphine mix changes this. Presumably it'll be to help clear any phlegm... apparantly it's used in drug overdoses to clear the system, so maybe it's to stop you overdosing on the morphine.
Don't trust me. I'm not a doctor.

Morphine is available over-the-counter in a mixture called Kaolin and Morphine for upset stomachs. Kaolin (a type of chalk) constipates the sufferer, while the morphine alleviates symptoms of pain. Essentially it's just a really strong painkiller, I shouldn't worry about addiction issues.
I would have waited a ******* eternity for this!!!!
