Constantine

If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

Note: I have never read Hellblazer
Note: I do not like Keanu Reeves

Quite enjoyed it. Nothing spectacular, but overall I'm happy I've seen it.

Felt it meandered and/or plodded a bit in places. Some shots held a bit longer than they needed be, stuff like that.

There was one part of the plot in particular that I didn't quite get. I can't remember what it is now, though, so it can't have been anything glaring. Oh, it might have been to do with that symbol thing on the dead people. Ah well.

Thematically it felt a bit close to Angel at times. Setting it in LA really doesn't help dissuade that.

It made me want to take up smoking.

It's not as good as Olivier Bernard's haircut, though. Possibly.
Grrr. Argh.
