there are two trailers.
tho i agree on quality, but IGN's compression can really suck, im pretty sure it would be brighter and smoother to look at - Zelda games are generally (what am i saying generally?) pretty amazing, and im sure this one will be to.
in terms of sheer detail - id bet my house on it being far beyond the norm - ive yet to play a zelda game thats been bad. - wind walker was still a great game. I actually hate playing new Zelda games because I know ill finnish them, and that thought alone depresses me

before judgement -the dungeons in ocrina of time on the N64 were beyond cubes, they were intricate mazes which did your head in - always very very clever.
I think what u were looking at there could just be room in a house, anywhere in the game - its hard to say really. Zelda always characterises its world so well, you get your generic water dungeons, fire dungeons etc... but its like they set the standard for all other games to follow.
If you wanted look at an adventure game that is accesible to all, and is nigh on perfect, pick up a zelda, personaly I think wind walker is great.
Not to mention the controls, as soon as u play a zelda game u realise that every other game u played recently rips every control aspect from it.
I loved how in ocrina of time they did away with the jump, Link Jjumps fr u depending on how fast you run towards an edge, or take climbing, I was just playing splinter cell chaos theory (the latest one) and my super duper commando man gets to a wall, as high as his waist, and I have to press a button a climb over?
Zelda style, all on the Anu stick, if i push against the wall gently he will press his body to it, push harder he puts his hands on the edge, a bit moretakes me over the wall. its perfectly fluid.
think ill go wind walker again, always cheers me up.

I am really looking fwd to this. Somehow my anticipation was boosted when it was announced the Revolution console would be backwards compatabile and act as a router for my DS to go online.
I just hope they add enough new ideas into the mix to keep the series fresh. Like Impy said, you can always guarantee you have fire and water levels etc, and you will always find bombs, boomerangs, bow and arrows too.
Minish Cap introduced some new abilities very well, I hope this can do the same and keep my love for the series burning.
Every game seems to have a gameplay quirk, Ocarina's time travel, Majoras Groundhog day, Wind Wakers sailing, I hope this one extends beyong horseback combat.

I really enjoy Zelda games, even Wind Waker. Didn't care much for Majora's Mask but thats just because I hate feeling like I'm running out of time(even with the slow time song) Ocarina of Time, and Link to the past were wonderful!
I haven't brought myself to buy Minish Cap yet, for some reason I've been kind of worried about its quality. Really looking forward to this new game though!

NEW Immensely HUGE trailer!
It's a monster at 230megs size! It's quite long too, as the quality is somewhat low, but in return you get to see a whole load of gameplay! Get it now, by the Triforce!

I'm getting a mayor LotR vibe from the new style, but in a zelda-way. Mid-trailer Shigeru Miyamoto(?) says that we're only seeing a really tiny portion of the game, just enough to get an idea of the overall theme for the gameplay. (What would be really cool was if this game would be on several discs.. {droool} )
I've got me some Minish Cap goodness, and I don't know if I think it's as good as Link To The Past, but I think it's pretty close, certainly the best one for the handhelds. I think I might go play now, even. The trailer got me all Zelda-excited.

Even though the presentation and scope has gotten better, I don't really feel there's been any innovation on Zelda since the introduction of the current control system during Ocarina of Time.
I'm not even sure how you could improve it.
