Apple just happen to have the iPod brand behind theirs, and have made a selling point out of randomisation and lacking a clear interface so as not to compete with the larger HD players.

Sound business sense.

Feh. I'm not impressed.

Okay, mine may be the size of a large portable CD player and weighs a ton, but at least it's got a freckin' screen, and 20x the storage. And I can program playlists, play albums, or do the random thing.

I think has a lil screen on the back. but is essentially a 1GB (or 512MB) flash drive the size of a key-ring - but, it has a mic socket init.

still it does look sweet.

oh, i have a 40 Gig as well, fret ye not.

it really doesn't need a screen tho - in gact thats kinda the point.
