I don't get it. I don't get it at all.
The thing I don't get is why a violent/sexual/sacreligious game becomes a bad game. I saw a movie review site once where the reviewer first judged whether or not the movie was a well-made film and then later gave advice regarding its content.
Back when Mel Gibson's 'Passion' was causing a stir, I always heard people praising it for it's depiction of the crucifixion. What I didn't hear was whether the movie was any good or not. I read that in one town a church leader reminded his followers that saying you didn't like the movie isn't sacrilige; That saying it was a bad movie doesn't mean you disagree with its message.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that it would be nice if he said something like "This game is (fun/not fun) to play" before launching into a religiously lopsided tirade.

Violence Score: 13 out of 20
Killing non-human, fictional beings (Ex. Robots or Aliens)
Beyond Good and Evil focuses far more on stealth than on combat; Jade has very few occasions to take out her martial-arts weapon. When there is violence, there is little in the way of blood or gore, but a scene of torture early in the game is disconcerting, despite its obvious fantasy nature. In addition, Jade will sometimes have cause to kill members of the Alpha Sections by kicking or shooting them in their breathing tanks. This lets her slip around the now-spastic soldier.

Isn't "Spastic" a politically incorrect offensive word? I'm sure it is.

The problem may not be the game – The real problem is
How are you going to communicate your values to your child?
If someone can explain to me how the hell as a race we have come, in any circles, to frown on nudity, please do.
You am a twart!

I actualy found a ton of great quotes on there, but Im way too lazy to copy and paste em all. There's a great bit at the end of the tomb rainder review, about how the guy had to stop playing cos it was getting too heavily into the occult, oh, and one in prince of persia about how there was hindu symbolism in the game, but its ok cos they don't glorify it. Its as hilarious as it is scary really.
