Movie pleasure...

If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

Okey dokey then, films you absolutely love. The kind of film you can watch time and again, have as comfortable background noise when doing other stuff, or that you forget you love but have to watch whenever they come on the tellyvisual set. Anything from what you may consider a mastepiece of cinema, to the cheesiest D-movie in existence. Movies that you just thoroughly enjoy, for whatever reason.

One of mine would have to be 'Navy SEALS', which was on t'telly just now, and as soon as I saw it was I abandoned all other channel surfing and got stuck in. Just good old turn-the-brain-off-and-listen-to-the-loud-bangs-and-macho-banter style action. It also happens to star Michael Biehn and Bill Paxton, two actors who I could quite happily watch paint a fence.

Step right up folks, let's hear 'em. :)

Give that man his own reality T.V show. The world needs it.

Bugger. I just listed a good porportion of my Video and TV collection. Got carried away and I'm sure I'll kick myself for forgetting a cert classic I don't yet own or is upstairs in my Room. Sure no one will read the list anyways.

Criminally underrated. If anything it's closer to the books than the first one, but people just didn't get it.

I always thought the problem was that movie was awesome but way to scary for most kids. Definatly not judy garland siging with a buch of munchkins.
