World of WarCraft - was nice knowing you guys

If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

Man this game is addicting. Only played it for 3 hours yesterday, but I think I'm hooked.

My Collector's Edition provided me with a rare extra pet: a baby panda bear. :)

Goodbye, all! See you next time! ;)

Indeed! :(

It's almost midnight here now, just got home. Have to get up at 7.00 am tomorrow morning. Hrm... I guess one hour of WoW wouldn't hurt that much?

I am curious to know what server you play on. I am on a western server Kil Jaedan and it's PVP server. If you switch to my server I will start an alt id so we can lvl together. I can even lend you money for the mount. What'd you say? ;)

Sounds good to me!

Can you actually switch a character to another server? Probably not, right? I'd have to start over.

Tell you what - I'll continue playing my current Dwarven Paladin some more to learn the game a bit, then I'm ready to hook up, ok?

just been watching my friend all last night, an experienced role player like myself.

the game is beautifully pretty, yet its adhears to the same 'lvl' rule as other games, you walk from one area to the next lvling up, you are zoned and therefore you cannot explore the world as u can never take on somthing more then a few lvls above your own.

nice game, and ill give it a go, but its got that same old problem that will turn me away - skill based XP games allow for more.

seriously UO had the system nailed years ago. daft.

Surely UO was just another D&D rip off too?

I'm loving WoW, nuff said. :)

But... but... it's so cool!

I just starting crafting my own armor, now also selling stuff through auctions.
