Ah The Bulls. I remember back in the day when they were the best team in Basketball by a huge margin. Now...the only decent sports team in Illinois is a college football team.

Good thing I care almost nothing about sports.

Actually it's a college basketball team, they are like 25-0 or something and ranked #1 in the country. The U of I football team sucks.

So without any innuendo..

When PMOP and I were sophomores, in the spring after normal basketball season, we were playing on an AAU [Amatuer Athletic Union] team. One game, the other team had a player named Luol Deng. Luol Deng was, at the time, considered the third best high school basketball player in the country.. behind, if I remember correctly, LeBron James [even though he was only a junior time] and Carmello Anthony.

During the course of the game, the standout Deng slam dunked the basketball, "over" PMOP. This, for non-basketballers, means that Deng slam dunked the basketball while PMOP was between him and the basket [or goal, if that makes you happy].

Last night, Deng slam dunked "over" Yao Ming, a really tall Chinese guy playing in the NBA.

This made PMOP happy because getting dunked "over" is never something to be proud of, and at least he can add that Deng also dunked "over" Ming.

And now back to your regularly scheduled transfans grabass.
