Put me in the 'jimmy Carr is a [composite word including 'f*ck']' club too. I agree with besty also-
just finished watching the 100 greatest tear jerkers on C4.
two problems with it:
a. Jimmy Carr makes me want to throw a sledgehammer at his face. I find him self-righteous, smug and utterly devoid of any redeeming features.
b. They showed clips from films which I consider to be utter genius- including Bambi and Watership Down. Instead of letting the brilliance speak for itself, apparently I need some **** from the Mirror or some micro-celebrity to explain to me through voiceover what I'm seeing. FFS.
I know I'm artsy even by most people's standards, I just think speaking over the top of such things utterly ruins them and completely defeats the object.
grrr!!!!!
On the bright side I shall purchase the Bambi DVD and all shall be well...

It's the same thing when it's sports on the telly.Karl Lynch wrote:Instead of letting the brilliance speak for itself, apparently I need some **** from the Mirror or some micro-celebrity to explain to me through voiceover what I'm seeing. FFS..
"We are gonna show the three greatest goals ever".
And instead of just showing us the goals as they are - they fire up some techno music, and fastforward the goal.. then rewind it, fastforward 0.2 seconds, then rewind, etc.
[composite word including 'f*ck']
Can't believe I'm still here.
