Yeah, but Alex Garland rocks (though admittedly his Beach screenplay, based on his own book, was crap). He's a gamer and a screenwriter - could work.

Sources say the the games' plot deals with a warrior soldier known only as "Master Chief" who battles a group of religious alien who believe one of their most sacred artifacts is located on Earth.

Man, they really got the scoop of the century there. Who exactly was their source, the guy at GameFellas? :roll:

there actually more detail on the back of the game box...

Metroid Movie and Eternal Darkness. I guess ED could be sort of interesting. but both movies would require huge budgets. so, prolly gonna suck.
