What are you going to cook/eat tonight?

If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

I'm thinking about cooking something nice, but not sure what. Ovendishes always take so long! But are very nice.

Any tips?

Maybe just a quick frozen pizza instead :)

hmm... now I'm hungry.

Probably chuck some potatoes in the microwave. Jacket Tatties with baked beans. Maybe with some coleslaw. Borderline healthy.
Grrr. Argh.

I'm gonna eat soup.
The soup will contain: Blomkål, purjolök ( I dont know the english words, and I dont have my english dictionary here :o ), gräddfil, potatoes, buljong, bacon.

Tasty as hell.
Can't believe I'm still here.

Dude, go to Old Street! a quarter of the cost of a "proper" lap-dancing place and just as many attractive naked ladies!

You Pat Lee, you.

[edit]Incidentally, I'm having chicken soup, followed by salmon salad with potatoes. Marijuana choc-chic brownies for afterwards :D
I would have waited a ******* eternity for this!!!!

Let's see, tonight? Batter Fried fish (and one Cordon Bleu for the Mrs. who isn't into seafood), cheese-smothered veggies (broccoli, asparagus, cauliflower, carrots, peas), and one of my pasta recipes (or I might make a new one on the fly).

That sounds good. I love jambalaya almost as much as I love a good gumbo.

Muchas gracias to Mob for the Sig, proving why he's called 'King'.

The "i" in "Señior" from "Señior's Covenant" is intentional and part of a stupid & cheesy inside joke from '02. Thank you for your concern.

I made myself pasta in the oven, but it wasn't very successful. Edible, but not great.

I have to call it "crunchy pasta" :(

Didn't have the energy to bother with potatoes (got flu or something, felt like **** since Tuesday morning), so I just had a microwaved sausage & mash thing. Quite nice, really.

I had pasta and salad.

I put aubergine pesto on the pasta, it was quick and easy + I liked it.

Tonight, Matthew, I'm going to have the salmon salad and potatoes I didn't have last night, assuming the salmon is still good.

Otherwise, salad and potatoes.
I would have waited a ******* eternity for this!!!!
