For the benefit of our overseas readers: the photo in the article is a typical shot of Mr Kilroy Silk. He usually looks like that...
Defending a country against different cultures? Hmm. Maybe we should all go back to being ruled by the French. Or getting invaded by Saxons.
As someone once said, "It's really dangerous to assume it's reasonable to pick the time when your chosen nation was at its largest extent and assume you get to put the clock back."
Britain has always been a mix of cultures, often violently at odds with each other.

He's sure come a long way from the playground.
IMHO, Kilroy's basically just a "If I can't be gang leader, then I'll just have to go and make my own gang!" man.Roger Knapman, UKIP leader wrote:He has remarkable ability to influence people but, sadly, after the [European] election it became clear that he was more interested in the Robert Kilroy-Silk Party than the UK Independence Party so it was nice knowing him, now 'goodbye',
He's sure come a long way from the playground.

poor disguise...
it was over a year ago now - he was still trying to dfend taht article he wrote where he said Arab civilisation had contributed nothing to society.
To which Paul Merson quite brilliantly retorted "Robert, what have you contributed to society?", and proceeded to rip the utter piss out of Kilroy's old tv show.
Even Des Lynham (guest presenter) was having a pop.
it was wonderful.
he was a guest.Denyer wrote:Was he actually on it? Presenting it? Either way, damn, I missed it.Best First wrote:did anyone see Merson and Hislop rip him to tiny ****ing bits on HIGNFY?
