Arsenal VS Manchester United.

If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

I think Keane would do well in Italy, the game is slower and more technical. For instance, his pace wouldn't be exposed, it would be down to his ability - which I think is very high.

Look at Franco Baresi, he played at a high level for years.

I disagree. We were ahead in the first half. Previously we almost beat Chelsea had Henry not missed a open goal.

Our problem is Gilberto is injured and he was such a key player. The kids are fantastic but don't yet know how to change the direction of a game and Vieira is 10 times more consistent with Gilberto. Edu missing is also been the other big problem if you ignore Lauren (I do) and the lack of defensive cover.

As much as i am amused by Impy's stereotypically Man U fan-esque over reaction to one victory i don't think you are doing much to counter the assertion that you are a spent force by pointing out you used to be ahead. Because it also underlines the fact that now you are not...

If one player makes a difference on a team with as many players on the feild as football then arsenal has a shallow talent pool and really is a spent team.

The only way that one player should make a difference is if he is the captain, but even then.

can you break a spineless back?

From a nuetral perspectiv Arsenal have been a big let down since Man U kicked them off the park last year.

Def agree.

Gives the impression that Arsenal were winning matches based solely on the fact that other teams were piss scared of being torn to shreds by The Unbeatables. Soon as they lost, that aura disappeared.

That or the players had forgotten it was actually possible for them to lose, and didn't have a clue how to react to it.

See? Winning loads of games isn't necessarily a good thing for a side.
Grrr. Argh.
