If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

Brittish Tv seem to have alot of quality tv-shows.
We don't get most of them in sweden, but I have seen Bottom, Game on and some episodes of The Office. And of course Monty Python.
Nice stuff (but maybe not the best?).
Can't believe I'm still here.

That won't happen, unfortunately.
"NATHAN BARLEY", also known as Cünt, and also known as Box Of Slice, is being broadcast by the UK's Channel 4 TV station in early February 2005. Don't get your hopes up that this 6-part comedy series will be up to the stellar standard of Chris Morris' previous satirical comedies. Alas.
Say this: "It's well weapon!"

In the case of Monty Python, it's definitely not the best. Good in parts, but it has passed into mythical status (due to it breaking new ground, granted) where it is revered beyond reason.

I rate Monty Python and the quest for the holy grail, as the best comedy
ever.
And I've only seen "The best of the flying cirkus" - which means that I've missed alot of material
Can't believe I'm still here.

Guys come on! The first episode "Music" of Look Around You series 2 was very mixed. It was like 6 minutes of good humor stretched over 30 minutes.
I had fair hopes for this. What a pity.
Poor overall. C-

Speaking of brittish humour - I saw "The best of Dave Allen" last night.
Anyone familiar with him?
