Right.
We have a plan.
The plan is this.
I stay Manchester based, however i set my Northern address to my parents (York) and i live in the work flat in London. If i actually have to work in manc i have friends i can stay at in the short term and getting a flat is pretty easy.
This means several things:
1) i have to divest myself of lots of stuff, the main thing being furntiture, or put it all in storage. Other stuff will come with me to London (i am aiming to be able to live out of about 3/4 bags) and some stuff to the parents. If i can i will get rid of as much stuff (other than CDs and stuff like that) as possible but if this starts to take too much time i will go for the storage option, probably in York again. This is the hard bit, as it involves being up north to sort it out, when really i want to be in London drunk.
2) I have to pay my parents rent for tax reasons (otherwise i would have to pay 40% tax on my work flat) Brilliantly however there is nothing to stop them just paying this straight back into my savings account. Ergo my only outgoings will be my phone bill, contact lenses and food. And fun stuff. Ergo lots of money saved.
3) Leaving Manchester behind - very bittersweet. Lots of memories but for now all it does is make me miserable.
4) Full time in London (er, Woking) - which will be very cool as i will actually be able to settle into my social life properly.
5) i get to keep my perks (can claim travel money to north every fortnight and a few other things) = extra cash.
6) I will probably loose my BA Silver card and my BMI Goldcard. oh well.
****ing wierd man.
Should i stay or should i go now.
