[Dumb suggestion nr.2]
Screw cap off of liquor bottle. Take large swig. Repeat until image is no longer blurry in comparison to everything else.

Muchas gracias to Mob for the Sig, proving why he's called 'King'.
The "i" in "Señior" from "Señior's Covenant" is intentional and part of a stupid & cheesy inside joke from '02. Thank you for your concern.

the problem lays in the way that windows plays movie files (i'm guessing you want to capture from a movie playing in winamp rather than an mp3? )... it does so by laying windows and other techinical crap, which means that the usual print-screen key combos won't work...
there are two solutions...
1) find a third party image grabber that can do this (there are a few out there, sorry i can't think of any titles off of the top of my head)
or
2) try disabling the hardware acceleration of your graphics card, it should be under the 'advanced' option of the display control panel. the printscreen method should (sometimes) work... but this can be a bit of a faff.

yeah a screen cap utility is needed to take video images, the video plane is drawn over the windows plane. - and print screen can only see the windows plane, nothing 'in front' of it.
some ultilitys for this can be found here. not sure whats best as I havent tried em. - I normally capture video caps by exporting a frame from a video editing application.
