So, how's Prime Rib doing then? I understand your problem man, freezing pipes is a common problem in sweden, only not so much this year, since it's been unusually mild. I'm guessing that the plumbing in your house is a bit old eh? Or do you just have really, really cold weather?
We need a converter for our different temperatrue systems I think, otherwise it's a bit hard to judge.

With just a hint of Kuh!
Well, that explains the causal anomalies, I suppose.

Son-of-a-beetch! That's some freaking temperature! That's like -52 degrees celsius! At that temperature I have been told by my old teacher that your piss freezes before it reaches the ground! Oh my, and here I was thinkin' you yanks were all soft to the cold, but boy, was I wrong.
It's acctualy very unusual to reach such temperatures here in sweden. I remember a few years ago when we had about the -40 and slightly above, and that was quite a...cracking experience.
Minus 50 we really never get, except at our most northern locations, and mostly during night and such.

Actually, -15F is more like -25C.Predabot wrote:Son-of-a-beetch! That's some freaking temperature! That's like -52 degrees celsius! What with -40F being identical to -40C, by a lucky coincidence*.
-52C is more like -60F, and that is quite cold indeed.
*Or. Is. It?

Hmm...now that Rebis has explained it to me with his school-teacher esque style, you don't seem so tuff anymore. That's standard temperature here during winter. Altough this winter has been alot milder, with temperatures more like 15-18 at it's coldest. Right now it's only about -5 really.
You foo. You yanks never heard about winter-hats and gloves and jackets and pants? Or do you all just think it's not 'cool' to wear that? After -20C I don't leave home without some good protection from the cold, it can acctually save your life you know.Tired Tracks wrote:Last night it was -22 F when I walked to dinner in only my normal clothes and a medium winter jacket. Its cooooold! :-p

What you don't own any old clothing? I don't buy new clothes more than perhaps once per year, all of my winther-clothing is up to a decade old. Second-hand is the only way to go. Don't tell me you trow away perfectly good clothing when you think theyre not "cool"(hehehe, that could be a very stupid joke!) anymore? Or are you just one of those guys that somehow manages to trash all your clothes sooner or later for some unknown abyssmal reason? Well, what do I know? Oh, right! I don't have to freeze when I'm outdoors!

I own a grand total of 7 sets of clothes. All my winter gear is too small for me. As I was in florida last winter I had little need for buying and keeping winter supplies closer to my current size. I had a growth spurt last year so all my stuff when to 2nd hand clothing stores!Predabot wrote:What you don't own any old clothing? And yeah, my gloves tend to be trashed/torn/covered in horse manure, that kinda stuff.
