Well her profile doesn't exactly say where in canada she lives, and since it's about the same straight line(eh, forgot what you call that, equatorial line?? no, that's not it..) as sweden, (in some places atleast) I was a bit surprised by those temperatures, on the other hand I just realised that it we have the lovely little golf-stream passing by here and keeping us warm, so maybe that number wasn't as lightning stunning when you give it some tought. Still, fuggin cold!

I love you.saysadie wrote:... I never got how expensive shoes were supposed to make someone (women, mostly... so people say) happy.
I'm happy if the shoes I'm wearing cover my feet and are comfy.
Hey! No, I... ...cold, huh? Yeah, that's chilly **** there.
Muchas gracias to Mob for the Sig, proving why he's called 'King'.
The "i" in "Señior" from "Señior's Covenant" is intentional and part of a stupid & cheesy inside joke from '02. Thank you for your concern.

The equatorial line is call the Equator. The lines that run parallel to it to which you refer are called lines of Latitude.Predabot wrote:Well her profile doesn't exactly say where in canada she lives, and since it's about the same straight line(eh, forgot what you call that, equatorial line?? no, that's not it..) as sweden, (in some places atleast) I was a bit surprised by those temperatures, on the other hand I just realised that it we have the lovely little golf-stream passing by here and keeping us warm, so maybe that number wasn't as lightning stunning when you give it some tought. The UK is on similar latitudes to Canada and Sweden, and we get the Gulf Stream (and nick it's warmth before it's associated/resultant airflow gets to you! ).
However, had it been called the Golf Stream, I'd believe in God, if only that he is currently playing with a driver, which would explain why my car is currently covered in snow.

(I knew what and where the equator was..you know.)Thank you for that Rebis, latitude lines eh? That's acctually good to know. About the Gulf Stream tho, well, for some reason the swedish name for it is "Golf strömmen" and if you translate that directly to english, you get "the Golf stream". Well, I guess it proves that when you don't know the proper translation for a word, use a dictionary.
