He just told me over the phone that the reason that he won't be coming over to our place today is cause his kid just died...He said that he didn't want to talk about it right then, and that maybe we'd talk over MSN tonight.
What am I ever going to say to him?!
His son just died, and even tho I don't know the specifics it was most likely in some stupid accident, like a car-crash.EDIT: Had to run an' catch me buss. He became a father very early I can tell ya, he's only 22 and his lad was about 4 years old, so he became a father at 18. Naturally it wasn't planned, but was one of those accidents, and his girl at the time couldn't bring herself to do an abortion.
I have no idea what to say to him, but I think I'll read the replies here, and see if you have some more experience and wisdom in this kind of thing. That, and I think I'm mostly going to listen, hear whatever he might say.

hrrm, I suspect that part of that is that he says he's gonna try getting high while we're there, he's got a fascination for pot, and is rather eager to try it out...and they've got a huge-arse plant on their backyard..feh.)
