I went to an audition yesterday, for a fairly postmodern play.

And I just got a call I'm accepted! Hurray!

It's all humble, no London or Broadway, but it's a start. Then again, it will be a full production, with performance on stage etc.

Ha! Combined with the fact that I made the deadline for my freelance job, and the prospect of a fun birthday party of a friend of mine tonight... today will go down as my best day in 2005 yet!

I'm not sure on the part yet, I'll hear in two weeks.

It's probably a toss up between the hatstand and a firehydrant.

The dinner was great fun yesterday evening, I finally could be myself again (instead of being stuck in a freelancer / client relation).

And the party was super too, had quite a few drinks, hung on a couch with way too many people, had a few good conversations, looked after a girl who didn't feel so good (that wasn't super, but it's a good thing our group looks out for each other)...

I think I slept from 7.00 am to 1.00 pm or so. No hangover, thank goodness.

And now I'm a free man again! Hurray!
