HHH again?

If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

You expected otherwise? Freaking Stephanie runs the writing team after all...nepotism extension, he is.

Thought it was common knowledge that they're doing HHH/Orton for the title at WM...

Edge/Michaels seems to be the other big match they're pimping from the whole angle.

So it shouldn't be in any way surprising that the belt's back on Trips. At least they kept it vaguely interesting for a while.

Cheers for the spoiler, btw... was headed over to Rajah to get a report, but figured it'd be safe to drop in here first. Silly me, eh?

Man i really want to seee Y2J with the belt.

I also want to see a serious long term feud over the belt that doesn't involve HHH. Since 2002 I don't recall HHH not being involved in the belt for under a month in one way or or another.

It's like late 80's Hogan again. Except Hogan initally had incredable drawing power warrent such a course of action.

Heck from late 98 to early 99, one of Austin's biggest years (And Austin was the biggest draw of all time) he was well away from the belt for months and months. It was all about Mankind and The Rock for a while.

You mean uniting the fans in hatred doesn't count as drawing power?[/quote]

I have to admit, big Dave (Batista) has grown on me. He's got a great attitude from what I've read about him and seen. He's clearly learning from being around Ric Flair and is really starting to play that angle against Triple Cripple quite well. Orton has also grown on me over the past year. Both of these guys are eager and seem to have a lot of natural talent...which of course means neither of them will get the type of push they deserve as long as Cripple H is around. (See: Benoit & Y2J for examples)

Honestly, the only two people I really didn't want to see walk out of the cage with the title were Edge and HHH. I find Edge to be about as entertaining as watching grass grow and HHH should have done us all a favor and just not come back from the quad injury...then we could remember him fondly.

I remember Crips coming back fondly.. I liked him when he turned against Shawn Michaels.

And that was about it..

HHH vs Michaels um, Round ONE was great... The sledgehammer ending was great... everything after that was craptastic

Seems plainly obvious that the rumors of HHH/Orton at Mania are going to be true...a simple matter however of who will win that...yes I know what Benoit did last year but I have a hard time thinking that Orton will pull it off; I agree that he's great and all and I've enjoyed watching his character development.
