lots of things happen on OT and are not given as they might ruin a game, Rio should have had a penlty, but after 'that' decsion, it was never gonna happen...
Consitancy + Refs = **** . you would think after all these years they would have sorted it out, I wonder how much is done to make things more exciting.

As for united doing no worng, they have had many players banned, rio, ruud, rooney, keane, all high profile players getting banned for doing wrong.
For me tho Arsenal can do no wrong.
I find it interesting that ppl have a dislike for United - why? they achived what they did with lots of english players, playing good football. you cannot deny they have played some of the best football over the past decade.
so what is it, jelousy of success?

You can quote Arsenal etc all you want but the fact is a lot of your glory hunting fans spent 10 years f##king off the entire country. Maybe as a Utd fan you don't understand but all teams that are successful have a certain arrogance to them but what Utd had was well off the scale.
Loads of their wank fans though swited to Arsneal for 2 months before secently swearing they are Chelski through and through.
But the hate for Utd, built oveer a loooooong time is still there. Glory hunting fans are so closely connected to Ud as the popularity of the priemership expanded it was most Utd they swarmed too. Hence the inbread hate to Utd.
By the way, on topic ,Spurs truley got F##ked. There are dives, s##t decisions but that was off the f##king scale. Arsenal got f##ked by the ref a few months ago but that was a propper filthy "pick up the soap" f'##king not seen before.
I've seen some bad decisions, some that made me angry, some made me releaved. But that wasn't even a wank. It was just a dry sticky stain afterwards.

no one said they made them win. where does anyone say that? nowhere.Impactor returns 2.0 wrote:Yeah so hate united because they are good and won - its so shallow, its purely jelousy.
Uniteds glory hunting fans didnt make united win, fergie and his team did. simple as.
you asked why people hate united, you got your answer - glory supporting cocks who somehow think the teams victories reflect on them - the point about Man U's success coincideing with the 'middle-classisation' of football is well made.

No it's not.Impactor returns 2.0 wrote:Yeah so hate united because they are good and won - its so shallow, its purely jelousy.
That's not the point. I'm mearly pointing out the glory hunters and Utd have far than anybody else I'm afraid, really shat on every body else while Utd were top on a scale no other club has done. It's why there is the hate.I never claimed Fergy and co have much to do with the hate (thouigh they play their part) but the glory hunters, man they p###ed everybody off. For a damned long time too.Uniteds glory hunting fans didnt make united win, fergie and his team did. simple as.
EDIT: Besty's quick summary nailed it. The class expansion of football in the early and mid 90's brought in the wankers who all headed to Utd and f##ked everybody off no end by rubbing everybody noses in it. Look at "Sunny Surrey" football fan. The sterotypes of Man Utd fans not being in Manchester but mostly in the SE. All based on what other fans experience I'm afraid. Personally I once lost it with the millioneth crack about how "Arsenal are only keeping our trophy warm for a season". The arrogance of the "Surrey Man Utd fan".
Note: I'm not talking about the 'true' Utd fans who are to be respected and hated equally as everybody else. Unfortuantly the vast majority across the country are exactly like every negative sterotype of a Man Utd fan that has been given and still dominate the landscape.

I must say I find it funny when supporters of the modern elite (Arsenal, Man U, Chelsea) bite each other's ankles in an attempt to make themselves look less guilty of the various sins of whinging about officials, cheating and getting bent decisions in their favour - trying to ally themselves to the fodder, the teams that make up the rest of the league, putting on this fake 'we beat all the odds' mentality or attempting to make themselve more holy, their success better then the others... Get a grip you sad wankers!
The game is skewed in your favour now!
To be honest, all successful clubs have glory supporters. There are a considerable amount of Liverpool fans in the south, as well as there being fans of Spurs all over England. Arsenal have their fair share of glory fans too and Chelsea are growing too. Success attracts hangers on.
Whilst we were never the most successful team, we mixed success with champagne players and style - Spurs are - I think - 3rd most supported team in the UK.
Whilst Liverpool got a bit of flak for picking up glory fans, they weren't universally hated because they worked their ******* bollocks off to get to their situation, had a bit of honour in their club and the way it was run. I'm not saying modern successful clubs dont work hard to get to their level of success. There is a distinct lack of honor in the currnet elite, with managers and players of The top three behaving like total ***** on a regular basis.
There is no doubt as far as I'm concerend that the league is skewed in the favour of big clubs now.
Right now, mass revenue is generated by mass support and inflated prices. The problem for the game is that this money is unfairly distributed, with the vast amount of tv money going to the elite.
I think there is jealousy amongst fans, (or certainly a sense of injustice) brought about by the money situation that has unbalanced the game. The model established in the mid 90s with the introduction of the Premier League allowed the team or teams that reached the top first to grow rapidly away from other parties. The first teams to taste success found themselves quickly gaining unobtainable status. Team a wins league, gets all the cash then buys all the best players increasing it's position of financial strength.
Team a's success generates further revenue outside domestic league, reaching mass market.
Team a is then in a position to throw it's weight around by joining with teams b, c and d in it's domestic league as well as teams e, f and g in other european leagues.
In effect, they monopolise the cash to ensure other teams will have to do something pretty ******* special to catch up.
Team 'Leeds' (ha) get ****** trying to do so.
When you add the money situation to
a) plastic **** fans that no nothing of the rivalry but tag onto a winning team simply for a spot of oneupmanship over other supporters
and
b) on top of all the unfair money advantage the officials and the FA appear to be in the back pocket of the big clubs (this actually is sinister - the F.A. need to keep teams like Manchester United and Arsenal sweet, incase the G14 clubs decide to start talking about breakaway euro leagues again - oh, woah betide the F.A. if they have difficulty selling the Premiership to Sky without Arsenal and Man Utd).
it gets ******* annoying!
And I'm saying this as a supporter of a team that is fairly sound, certainly compared to the 80 or so other clubs in our country.
