YES! It's finnally time for the pagant with no shame what so ever.
The nominations have been submitted, and now it's time for TransFans to decide who was the Newbie Of The Year 2004!
Please make your pick here from the big list of candidates above.
The voting will go on for a week, or if I see a call for it, as long as I like.
Now place your vote, in this the first semi-finals!
EDIT: Just to bring this poor topic back on track I can tell you that since it's Friday, this poll will close sometime during the day. So no is your chance, vote vote vote!
EDIT2: OK, this poll is officially over, and tomorrow I'll start semifinal2. The only problem being that I set this thing on infinite, and not for one week, however I have PMed EmmVee and hopefully he'll close it down, if not already done. I have also decided that because of the close race between the contestants were going to have to have a third semifinal, to sport a third and last finalist, from the two Semifinals before it. Enough of that tho, congratulations to Kingmob! He's semifinalist nr.1!

It is. NOTE: In the past year, when the votes where hand-counted it was strictly forbidden to vote on yourself.Optimus Prime Rib wrote:Its an honor just to be nominated *sniffle*
But since this year we have amazing automated computerised counting and buttons to press instead of scribing things down, there's really nothing to stop you from voting on yourself, except for the astraly projecting consience-phantoms that I have been given some expert help in deploying.

He did, yessire! Now, since Optimus Prime Rib is deemed to become one of the favorites with a shot at the medal apparently, one must ponder...can one, as in the collective all of TransFans truly go on if he is the best TransFans could attract 2004.. But wait! Kingmob is gaining on him! This will be a cage-match I tell ya! Excellent.

Not a bad idea! ;D
Hey! Not a bad idea! As soon as I get home I might just start something on that!
BTW: suspect you've cheated in one way or another to more or less extent. Cause you don't have a contience, so there's nothing stopping you...for the moment

Indeed there is. This is only Round 1. Look at the number. When the weeks over I'll probably post round 2. Then we'll see were it goes from then, if we can have the final cage-match or if there's a need for a round 3 prior to that.spiderfrommars wrote: Actually, I am. Plus I know for a fact he'll be embarrased to win Newbie of the Year... heh.
You were... I think theres to be another topic.sprunkner wrote:It would have been an honor to have been nominated....
Hmm..Unique Ron is coming up very strongly there, taking the lead! This might indeed be interesting. Seems to be a close race between three favorites here.

Whoo, someone voted for me!
Maybe I should do a campaign... like give an Overlord to everyone who votes for me.
Naah. I'll hack the voting system instead.
Btw, who IS Unique Ron? Never seen him on the G1 topics... he's strictly General Discussion?

"I've come to believe you are working for the enemy, Vervain. There is no other explanation... for your idiocy." (General Woundwort)
He was on the old board. Insane nutjob. Offended absolutely everybody. Right wing fruitloop, he was pretty much the Anti-Emvee. Got severely banned.BB Shockwave wrote:Btw, who IS Unique Ron? Never seen him on the G1 topics... he's strictly General Discussion?
He did however succeed in unifying absolutely everybody in pursuit of the goal of peace, happiness and fluffy little kittens. Which is a good thing and means he should be recognised as fabby.
Grrr. Argh.

He never offended me in any way really, neither did Ishin Ookami. At times I acctually thought Ishin had some acctual points, and I never understood why there was that big a fuss about his views.
Ron was a bit testy at tiems, yes. But since he had a similarly dreadful internet situation as myself at the tiem I sympathised dearly with him. Oh, and I absolutely loved Ishin_Ookami's good-bye letter, where he sort of out-smarted Besters, denying him that precious final intelectual victory.
