Just saw a preview of this on the PSM DVD, and it looks pretty lovely.
The game is no longer a Gamecube exclusive (I assume that Capcom realised GC only sales wouldn't be nearly as tasty as GC and PS2 sales combined), and the graphics look lovely (I'm assuming that because I saw the demo on a PS2 magazine disc that it was the PS2 version-if so I'd assume the GC version will look even better).
The game no longer has fixed camera angles, and adopts an over-the-shoulder approach to gameplay. The weapon aiming is now free, meaning you can target the enemy wherever you like (shoot-out knees, groins and heads-yay!), and looks like it will make for a better gaming experience.
No zombies this time round-as far as I can see it's psychotic villagers who will be the main source of cannon-fodder, although there are still various monsters in the game, so I imagine that the villagers aren't your bog-standard oomans.
All in all, looks very nice!

It does, yes. buy a gamecube, a black one., and the graphics look lovely (I'm assuming that because I saw the demo on a PS2 magazine disc that it was the PS2 version-if so I'd assume the GC version will look even better).
Indeed, looks to be an excellent game-engine, and it has some interactivity and wind and stuff too.The game no longer has fixed camera angles, and adopts an over-the-shoulder approach to gameplay. Good and proper! Have you seen the latest of the videos, when he fights the villagers? No zombies this time round-as far as I can see it's psychotic villagers who will be the main source of cannon-fodder, although there are still various monsters in the game, so I imagine that the villagers aren't your bog-standard oomans.
