Hey guys.
Yesterday, I got up at 7.00 am, worked all day, visited friends for dinnner, went to the movies, went for a cup of tea and then to bed around 4.00 am. Got up this morning at 7.00 again, after 3 hours of sleep.
At the moment, I'm feeling pretty good actually. But we all know that won't last forever.
When do you think fatigue will kick in?
Lock in your votes... right now! [/Bob Saget]

Don't worry, I won't fall asleep on New Year's Eve! That would be very rude towards you.Eline wrote:And then you won't be able to stay up late on New Year's Eve
The guys at the office here just left, so I'm on my own now. I'll work another 30 minutes, till 5.30 PM local time. Then I'll go home.
Not quite sure how long I'll last after that.
My record is 33 waking hours, that was pretty hardcore! Though it pales in comparision to the feats of the great and pale zombie killer, Orion Pax.

So, given you can make it, what time exactly on what day exactly are you planning on finally passing out?
Muchas gracias to Mob for the Sig, proving why he's called 'King'.
The "i" in "Señior" from "Señior's Covenant" is intentional and part of a stupid & cheesy inside joke from '02. Thank you for your concern.

8.51 PM local time. Feeling good, very relaxed.
Just read for two hours in a book on advertising. It's supposed to be full of sympathy and wisdom. Certain things are nice enough, though hardly eye opening. However, like with most things, I do feel a changed person. Perhaps that's just my mind trying to convince myself it's worth my while. But I do think it is.
Anyway, making dinner now, probably going to drink a beer also, then hopefully pass out around 10.00 PM or so. Sleep till 7.00 AM tomorrow, good times...

20:16 GMT. Eating pizza. Mildly bored. At something of a loosend. Puzzled by Dylan's programming post elsewhere. Secretly considering yoghurt. Wondering whether aluminium or sand is smarter.
20:17 GMT. Decided sand is smarter. Figuring out a way to keep bridges from rusting by boiling them in wine. Pondering whether muesli. Or maybe not muesli.
20:18 GMT. Muesli. Definitely muesli.
20:19 GMT. Well... on the other hand...

Okay this is a long shot but I am really annoyed and if there is the slightest chance he will read it, I will be vindicated.
To the donkey-raping git of a son of a lizard's whore who left his poncey POS convertible outside my flat last night with the hyper-sensitive alarm that went off every two fooking minutes all fooking night, I hope your festering unused syphillitic penis gets so jealous of its substitute that it forcibly leaves you, taking your testes and demanding bollock support payments backdated to 1991.
Alternatively, if the owner of the car is a woman:
You dumb bitch.
That's all. I got like 2 hours' sleep last night and it's left me just a little cranky. Around 5 o'clock this morning I was seriously considering going outside, putting the windows through and pulling wires until the thing died. Either that, or prising the top off of the enormous can of yellow emulsion we have in the kitchen, slitting the soft-top and pouring the whole lot inside. I doubt there's a court in the land that would have convicted me.

Yunno the funny thing is I was talking to this girl at work about how I really needed a decent night's sleep tonight and she was all "well something will get in the way of it..."
...yeah, she kept buying drinks for me until closing time.
Bah.
Bed now. No more awake until tomorrow.
