What are your faaavourite things?

If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

Let's play a few of our favourite things :)

Mine is waking up on a really really cold night, but then realising there's hours to go till I have to get up and then snuggling back to sleep under my warm blankets :)

Cheesy, but what the hell... I love spending time with my friends and my father.

Besides that; singing along to my favourite tracks 8)
Can't believe I'm still here.

So many. For one, cooking dinner for the family. Currently, in preparation of having our own homestead, we're living in my parent's house along with my last living grandmother in the hopes to save money for proper furnishings. It's great when the Mrs' sisters & mother (along with the children) come by. I get to make either Broccoli & Cheese stuffed chicken or my famous Chicken Cordon Bleu & whatever personal pasta recipe suits the whim. I love cooking for family!

Muchas gracias to Mob for the Sig, proving why he's called 'King'.

The "i" in "Señior" from "Señior's Covenant" is intentional and part of a stupid & cheesy inside joke from '02. Thank you for your concern.

Now that's the **** right there. Waking up in a cold room, then realizing you don't actually have to be awake... :)

Even better when you've got a nice heavy blanket

Other than, I'd have to say my three new CD's at the mo. I've picked up The soundtracks to the first RE movie and Blade Trinity, along with the Live Evanescence album, "Anywhere But Home".

"Missing" (Evanescence) is an absolutely haunting song, it's gorgeous imo. CD also contains a cover of Korn's "Thoughtless"... listening to that song was really, really odd the first time. I was listening to it on the way home from work and at first it didn't register but as the song went on, I finally heard it, really, and thought "Woah... hey, this is a Korn song."

I thought it was interesting.

I actually only went looking for the original RE soundtrack for "Name of The Game". I love The Crystal Method... but other tracks by Rammstein, Depeche Mode, Method Man, Saliva, and Static-X has definitely made this a fun buy. Whee. :D

Blade Trinity ST I've not actually listened to much yet (played it once through while at work), but what I've heard is gooder. Once again... Crystal Method, can't go wrong there. Plus, Wu-Tang and ODB! I have the deluxe limited edition... came with a DVD of something that looks animated. I've not checked it out yet... probably will later.

Fresh musics so, soooo goooooood.

If it doesn't, then I don't know what does! I'd say Wednesdays. Middle of the week made bearable by new comics. How I do likes my comics. I get enough of reality the other 6 days a week.

At the moment, I like anything warm and comfortable: sleeping, snuggling on the couch, hugs, tea, a nice hot dish of pasta.

And the Chippendales are nice too (saw them performing a while ago)

I think I like two things:

1) Being around happy people
2) Being on my own

The sense of satisfaction when hours of studying leads to a good grade on an exam.

And of course, hopping up on the scale at my weekly Weight Watchers meeting and finding out I lost for the week!!
