He dropped by my booth at otfcc last year. Nice guy, even if he can't draw TFs decently and is seemingly demented. Still a nice guy. Anybody have that picture of the crazy art gallery photo he's in?

Yep. This guy walks over the booth and asks how much I'm selling the older Marvel comics for. I told him that they were only two bucks each. He sounded displeased so I asked if that was too much. "No," he told me, "but you see, I wrote them." To which I replied, "Oh really?" He says, "Yes. I'm Bob Budiansky." He told me the story about how he had to fight to keep the name Megatron and it was cool. I thought about having him sign a copy of Carwash of Doom, but thought better of it. Or worse of it, depending on your view of things.

Heh, so he's still onto the money then. Half of the interviews I read with him were full of stuff like "I continued writing it as the money was good" or answers to 'would you ever write TFs again?' - 'Sure, if I was paid well enough.'

DW should hire him, not Suckaccini. Oh, DW's bankrupt. My bad.
