America, **** Yeah! / Soundtrack thread...

If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

Got myself the Team America soundtrack.

This CD is great as Ob will attest to.

So to give this thread some legitimacy, what are your favorite soundtracks?

1. LOTR
2. Star Wars
3. Master and Commander
4. Team America
5. Batman (at least the opening bit that the cartoon later expanded on...)

RE: Apocalypse
Spiderman 2
Young Guns 2
Punisher

Damn though... there's a couple there I wouldn't usually classify as very good. I need new soundtracks!

It's amazing! :)
It's a great blend of nice music and humour (me thinks).
And the "real songs" are great as well.

"I need love, I need this, I need you.
You're around, you're right here, so you'll do

I wanna tell you how much I love your mind, but it simply isn't true"

Team America soundtrack is great. Mind you, most of the south park music is really good too.

Grosse Point Blank

Donnie Darko (the soundtrack's the best thing about the movie)

Judgement Night (s*** film, great songs)
Lost Boys
Transformers (somebody had to say it! 80's hair metal never sounded so good!)
