We interupt this thread, to bring you more spoilers...
There are some truly horrible and desperately evil missions in this game, and they all involve planes. You will want to slaughter every person involved in the making of this game. And their families. But, you will get through them, and there are some ******* amazingly cool missions which will make you go "Yay!".

Just keep shooting! I lost 3 out of 4 transmitters but managed it ok. Keep an eye on the direction the planes come in from using the radar as well, and don't take your finger off of the trigger-never know when you'll get that lucky shot in!Shanti418 wrote:Anybody have any hints for the zero shoot down the planes mission? It's a bitch, as I think everyone is already learning.
Mind you, once you get onto his next mission, you'll wish you'd never bothered!

In San Fierro, you'll encounter a character by the name of 'Zero' who you have to do missions for. The second one is called 'Supply Lines' and is fecking horrible.
Some time after that, you'll have to go through flight school in order to progress through the game-that is equally horrible.
But, as someone who has completed the all the missions and is now gunning for 100%, it's worth every bloody second.
What GTA3 tribute do you speak of? I can't remember.

So how far is everyone?
Sadly my progress is hampered by taking the missions in turns with the gf.
PP - you clearly have more free time than me... git. However, this makes you useful. When i got booted out of Los Santos all my gang progress dissapeared - can you resume this later on? Cheers.

Yep, you'll come back to doing turf wars later.
More than happy to impart my wisdom (stop laughing) on all things San Andreas!
Oh, and although the GTA3 tribute you're talking about is cool, there's an even better'un later on!
Oh yeah-gambling rules. I put ten grand on Shatners Bassoon at 12-1

Erm, you seem to be missing the point here, which is that we are playing the English version of San Andreas, which is more difficult.Dark Link wrote:Supply Lines: 2 Tries.
Bitches
For instance, the 'Supply Lines' mission is made nearly impossible because R* send a representative round your house to break both your thumbs before you play it, and as for the final mission...well, let's just say it involves a sleep deprived monkey with...
Bah, I got nuthin'
