Seriously, I hadn't heard about this until I read it at transfans, I need to watch more news and listen to the radio some times.

Well, she was the leader of our lmost leftwing partie, simply named Left-partie (useless translation, yes. Sucks at english). She was kicked out when she had some troubles with alcohole and cheated a bit with her bills and taxes.

She has after leaving(? It's a bit blurry wether or not she is acctually a member of her old partie) her old partie expressed that she thinks that sweden has the need for a partie basing it's politics on feminist ideology. This appears to be yet another part of that whole deal. It sounds sound, and in some ways even logical.

But I don't think this is the way to solve or patch up anything. We do have the highest taxes in EU, and if I'm not dazed has had the highest taxes in the world. (Not sure.)

This is one of the reasons why I chear whenever the dollar goes down, and gets annoyed whenever somebody from another country complains over high taxes(Usa for instance

Your the richest country in the worlds! Quit complaining! Sweden is the porest in scandinavia, Finland included. That may be innacurate, as I have no empirical data supporting that, but it feels that way).

You are aware that, even though the US is the richest country in the world, we still have people who very little money who can't afford to pay those taxes, yes? It does irk me when people with more money than three generations of their families can spend complain about it, though.

I went out and got the facts, and apparently it was correct. Sweden is the porest of the nordic countries.

link here. The brittish magazine The Economist we're slipping away compared to our closest naibours. Apparently it was a 14 pages long report about the nordic countries. Mind you, this was over a year ago since this was published but, I doubt much have changed in said time...

I used to watch the telly and it's news quite frequently, I followed the development in the UN between Blix and Powell and nations for and against a resolution and against Iraq with great interest. But since I moved to a new location and got access too broadband my priorities to obtain information has changed. However all information does not neccessarily lose it's value after a certain time-frame from it's gathering.

Ah, I see, yes. He was the governor. And thanks to him and his time as such, which has continued and intensified into his presidency, my best friend/my confidant/my main man of about eight years now (though it seems far longer), whom has hemophilia (a blood disorder) and missed a high amount of school because of it back in the day (though he still did the work he needed and aced all - the man's a friggin' genius, most here would like him, especially Best First & Denyer from what I've seen), Bush's school "efforts" (both as governor and president) ensured he'd be unable to obtain a High School Diploma.
