finally watched firefly

If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

The hoosban started watching it recently too. I'd seen it before but I'd forgotten how entertaining it was. Funny stuff.

Just finished the series, borrowed it from a friend. Now I just have to borrow Serenity.

I loved it. So funny. Fox is dumb.

Love it.

Make another movie Joss. Who would say no to you now?

Actually, Serenity does wrap things up nicely. I'm just greedy.

I've enjoyed Castle. It's not Firefly, but it's fun and kinda campy.

That video is amazing.

Agree. I got to finish Who, give Mad Men a few more episodes, and start on The Wire and Breaking Bad.

The wife and I liked Castle, but we seemed to guess the plot entirely for every episodes. Writers watching writers?

Writers watching writers writing about writers.

It knows and it plays with it. I mean the reason he doesn't buy it in the first episode is "that's not how I would write it."

I like Castle.

The lady and I are caught up on Breaking Bad and Walking Dead, there's....something holding me back from diving into Mad Men, don't know what. We're actually watching Star Trek Voyager (Whoa, I can literally SEE opinions of me lowering a few notches). It's akin to stuffing pieces of poop in your mouth because you heard there are some pieces of poop that actually taste OK. But *those* pieces of poop? They actually DO taste OK.

Shanti: "Watch what you want, [composite word including 'f*ck'] other people's opinions" generally works for me. :)

That said, Voyager is ****. :p :p
