Oh and yayness for the weekend, I've been invited to a birthday party at one of my favourite bars, so the girlfriend and her mates can go do their thing, while I have the perfect getout.

Welcome back. 'The missus and her mates' sounds to me like you'd be the only male in their company or something. Just tell them you have to stay off the alcohol so you can better bodyguard them (whatever they call it). Christ, it might just be me and a bunch of 23 year old japanese chicks. My sanit...

I'm back!

Back online that is, after a year with no net connection I finally gave in and got one installed at home. Which means regular myspace blog updates, regular visits to forums like this, and regular access to naked lady pictures. Also, might be visiting england towards the end of this year, so hope to ...

Sometimes Japan is really good like that, but on days where you just want to be left alone it can be a little tiresome. That said, I was in the gym the other day, and one of the japanese guys wasn`t happy with my form on one of the weights (the one which I`d always had a problem with), so he came ov...

What she said. Anyway, I`m in Japan and I think its actually against the law not to like Bon Jovi here, if any of the karaoke nights with my students are anything to go by.

Can`t say as I have. Found plenty of other rowdy expats in the bad bad area though. But I kinda prefer the nicer areas for drinking.

Harajuku is Japan`s Camden, only its like they got it a little bit wrong. Its also right next to a frickin` huge temple.

Its not as expensive as I've been lead to believe, mostly its cheaper than that there london. Teaching's pretty c...

Perhaps an attempt for St George's Day would reach a similar end? IIRC, there are shreds of evidence St Patrick existed. George pretty categorically didn't. Not from what I read. I read somewhere about George being some turkish bloke. A soldier or somesuch, forget the details but I'm sure you could...

I'd def say keep it to yourself unless asked outright. Especially since you've no intention of getting back into something with her. She'd probably still blame herself for what she does now, maybe moreso. She'd have to deal with fresh pain and so the only benefit I could see would be if there was a ...
