Back when I was at Uni, I got equated a bit with Tiggr for being bouncy/jumping around when excited. In my final year, I was involved in the Chaplaincy Ball, which had an arthurian theme, and someone suggested I should go as Sir Bouncelot. I liked it and subsequently used it as my screen name in lot...

I read a post on the IMDB-forums where someone said something like "Back in 1933 the general population didn't know as much about dinosaurs as the general population does today. That might be a reason why it was better to bring back a big-ass gorilla; everybody knows what a gorilla is". Maybe they ...

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/middle_east/4529198.stm This is why religous countrys shouldnt have nukes because there worlds are based on make belive. One extremist leader being a holocaust denier does not necessarily mean that "religious countries" (however you define the term) are all that nuts.

Never underestimate the stupidity of the human race. Give it a few years to be forgotten, and they'll be able to find people who will believe it.

Is London billion of miles away from Hemmel Hampstead - or are they close to each other?

I went to see Narnia tonight. And I loved it. Faithful to the book, good effects, brilliantly scripted, and for those who might be uncomfortable with it, it doesn't particularly push the Christian allegory.

Why is this topic titled London - what's going on? :???:

Sad news. Still at least nobody was seriously hurt. Besides, if we will keep lots and lots of oil in the same place, then this kind of thing is going to happen sooner or later. All it needs is a spark in the wrong place and *boom*

we just need serioulsy extended timescales. Tens of millions of years is a long time, even for TFs. Also, the dinosaurs scanned weren't actually all around at the same time in natural history, from what I remember—it was only Marvel's rather bizarre Savage Land that meant you got an Apatosaurus, Ty...

You know, I always thought that he didn't seem to be making much of an effort to hang on - he just sort of, well, let go. Totally! He's hanging on fine then decides to let go. Either Tom (and the director) really couldn't be arsed or the Doc killed himself. So we have a suicidal Doctor. Maybe it wa...
