You bring up an interesting point, Hound. When a baby will definately be born with severe mental or physical defects, should it still be born? For that matter, if unborn children (which are incomplete) are not people, what about people who are born incomplete? Are they people? Well they are people....

How about:

Karl's Molestrangler strips are a work of genius.

Doctor Who is a very good TV show. (readies big gun to fire at anyone who disagrees)

Dreadwind and Blaster were not as good at answering letters as Soundwave and Grimlock.

By definition I suppose a fetus could be called a parasite. I used to call children an STD lol. Anyway. You could aslo define a fetus/mother relationship as a symbiosis. Both parties benefit. Yes the fetus pulls the nutrients and leeches off the mother for survival, but in many cases (Id say most b...

It's probably best to follow your name and contact details with a brief "personal statement" that explains in a couple of sentences who you are and what your key strengths are. Below that, a typical CV normally has employment and educational information, followed by things like hobbies and interests...

Look, the bottom line is this. You would have one hell of a hard time convincing me that most people who are walking around today deserve to keep living. Trying to convince me that someone who hasn't been born yet deserves to be would be damn near impossible. Life begins and birth and ends at death...

So, essentially, when someone who claims to be a Christian does something good, its BECAUSE of their Christianity, but when someone who claim’s to be a Christian does something bad, its “oh, well, they have missed the point, its not real Christianity, despite the mandate that religion provides clea...

The entire hell and Satan thing was just a way for the church to keep the general population obedient during the dark ages. Both concepts were prominent in Christian thought centuries before the Dark Ages, though (they're extensively mentioned in the Bible, for example). Oh, and contrary to common ...

Your religion is a farce. A laughable relic of a time when people thought the world was flat, the sun revolved around the earth, and that women were simply deformed men who were created to be completely subserviant to men. The fact that so many people, at least, claim to believe it is all the proof...

charity is, originally, a religious idea No, it isn't. It's the notion that what goes around comes around -- a literal karma; help others and if/when you need it yourself (which was far more the case centuries back -- where, for example, care for the aged wasn't centrally organised or widely offere...

if you do a poll (and they did many) about what people believe in, only a tiny fragment says they are atheists. The most say they don't care. Atheism is an absence of theism, that's literally what the word means. In modern life, it encompasses two definitions: people who don't have a religion, and ...
