Did Primus also realize that the swarm would also scourge the universe of all other techno/cyber/machine organisms? I would say yes. Otherwise...well, he could have just created the Swarm directly and sent it after Unicron. Did Primus create all techno/cyber/machine organisms?? Doubtful. Why would ...

Re: Primus, Optimus Prime, and Moral Ambiguity

But longtime fans of US/UK Marvel will recognize that from the earliest issues of the ongoing series, Optimus used the Creation Matrix to replenish his ragtag forces. actually, a large percentage of his forces were created on Earth and could be considered "2nd Generation". The Decepticons also woul...

I love certain parts of the movie, but overall...it just doesn't make much sense. Honestly, I'd just as soon watch MTMTE or FFOD if I was to spend an hour-plus watching the cartoon. The shuttle scene, Autobot city battle, Megatron's reformatting, Starcream's coronation, and the Hot Rod/Galvy battle ...

Are Universe Depth Charge and Optimus Primal worth buying? They seem ridiculously easy to transform from the looks of them and yet are still ranked "3" Universe Primal is a really, really nice toy. Lots of features, lots of weapons, great posability and a really nice colour scheme. However, he is q...

I actually like Carwash of Doom. I mean...Ratbat! Come on! Anything with Ratbat in it has to be good! Right? I know a good psychiatrist, if you're interested? If you dont need medicines, here is a good psychologist Silence! Unleash any more blasphemy against Ratbat and I will use my unspecified ult...

I like season three, both because of nostalgic reasons and because it was a bit more ambitious than the first two. That ambition led to some spectacular failures, sure. But it also led to some decent eps, and even a few that were very good.

The Unicron Saga had some great moments, it featured all of my favourite characters and Wildman's art was amazing. But at the end of the day it's just another Unicron story. It's not even the best one (that honour goes to Legacy). G2 is unique. It features lots of ideas that never really saw the lig...

as much as he is an annoying bastard at 50:1 odds i'd take Starscream over human jets. As skilled as Screamer is, I don't think he could evade all of the 200 or so long-range missiles they'd be throwing at him, the machine gun fire, and the likely kamakaze attempts. And while I'd credit his armour ...

The way I see it, nothing in human arsenals short of a full-on nuclear explosion could kill a TF easily, but shoot him a couple dozen times with cruise missiles and he might start feeling some ill effects. TFs can outmaneuver, overpower and generally outclass anything humans throw against them. Only...

I'd say Mike Collins (of 'Crisis of Command' fame). While his work tends to get a high rating from fans, very few people know who wrote those issues.

Sarracini. Others have produced worse (Budiansky certainly did, and I've heard bad things about the recent GI JOE crossovers) but they had other constraints. They had Hasbro breathing down their neck, or they had to work with huge casts of varying characters, or whatever else...these factors don't e...
