Re: Bug reporting

Further to yesterday's strangeness:

The board now seems to have caught up with itself, showing posts made since last saturday. Very weird!

Re: Bug reporting

Not sure if this'll work. Or if this is the right place to post this, but: Tried to post a topic in GD just now and was logged out when I clicked 'submit'. Topic was related to the fact that the board seems to have reset itself to last saturday, as my actual last log in was not last saturday but yes...

I like the one about a particular type of magic - Gardening Flowers!!

Also, would anybody anywhere ever be persuaded to buy pills from somewhere whose advert is a picture of a person made entirely of pills being spoonfed pills?

Re: The Mother****in Doctor Is In

I thought it meant that Gallifrey only now existed in a single instant, so you couldn't find the place past, present, or future unless you knew what precise instance in time it now occupied. But, I guess it's actually been moved to another location in a different dimension, which isn't at all what ...

Re: The Mother****in Doctor Is In

At least the Doctor's lie about finding Gallifrey keeps Clara from telling him that they'd been there just recently. Which *still* bothers me. In Listen? That was Gallifrey in the past, along the Doctor's own timeline. If he wanted to go back to there/then he could use the telepathic circuits to ge...

Re: The Mother****in Doctor Is In

So... I thought when we last saw the Master, he had kind of made up with the Doctor? Does Missy have a constant drumming in her head? How does Danny Pink's death impact on their timelines, given their interaction with his lookalike time-travelling descendant, who now will never have existed? I'm gue...

Re: How do you know when Transfans is super old and boring?

Then again, I guess you could just pull a Flashpoint with Marvels: The Avengers: The Infinity War: Part II and just have the Gems re-write the universe and leave us with a whole new cast when the dust has settled. Perhaps a universe where Spider-Man, the X-Men, and the Fantastic Four all exist toge...

Re: The Mother****in Doctor Is In

Yes, it was.

The Caretaker, on the other hand... well, seeing Capaldi in the brown coat and backpack was rather too reminiscent of Tennant's ghostbustering back in Series 2 for my liking, although the rest of the story made up for that.

Re: Weird Transformers: Prime question

I recently marathoned the whole of Prime and I don't recall anything that sounds like that.

I've read that Rescue Bots is set in the same universe as Prime, but is more cartoony and aimed at a younger audience. I've not seen it but maybe it's from there?

I was getting a Hartnell and Colin Baker vibe, although it may be that it was just the angry & confused post-regen effects, and that his calmer self will be quite different.

Please throw in that couple of Ewoks live-action movies, while you're at it!

Although, I could imagine Disney execs wanting to restore canonicity to the Holiday Special, just to rub Lucas' face in it.

Looks like the black car is the legends robot that Hound said turned into armour.

They replaced Slingshot with Alpha Bravo???

At least they kept his alt-form as a kind of VTOL aircraft, I suppose.

Some of those are oversized or "special" issues, but do you really believe this isn't the beginning of "the new normal?" Yeah, we don't either. ALL of them are oversized, and those were always going for more than $3.99. When 32-page issues start going for $.4.99, that will be new normal. This is no...

In fact, for me, the best-executed action scenes in these films always turn out to be the car chases, not the fights.
That Michael Bay, eh? He really knows who to get to 'CGI' his stock footage of a freeway to make it look newly-shot.

Edge of Tomorrow's quite decent in a Starship Troopers meets Groundhog Day kinda way. Is this film the reason they closed off part of one of the busiest shopping centres in London last year just so he could jump out of a military helicopter from about an inch off the ground? Or was that for some ot...

Maybe it was just me but did Fassbender seem a little bored? Can't place my finger on it but he seemed kinda ho-hum about the whole thing which was odd, because his scenes on the plane were great, but after the chess scene he seemed to kinda zone out. It could be he was a little distracted about we...
