Re: Reissues?

Walmart recently released reissues of: Devastator, Hotrod, Starscream, Bumblebee, and 3 other minibots. Picked up a Devastator set and the minibots. Pretty cool as the boxes and cards are all G1 too. Very nice to have a mint Devastator with all the accessories.

Re: The Last Jedi

It was not a great film. Fun little action film, like Pirates of the Caribbean. I found the writing pretty bad. The plot was pretty pointless too. I could go with a long list of problems I had with the film. Basically, if you're expecting the Empire Strikes Back...just don't go see it. If you are ok...

Armstrong deserves to be tarred and feathered. Yes tarred and feathered. Anyways, cheating in sports is now so endemic that professional sports have become a sideshow. It would be so easy to get rid of too. Take blood samples year round as soon as an athlete becomes eligible. Keep those samples in a...

Found it very entertaining for the most part.

The plot holes I could deal with, well except one. The whole bit about the nuclear weapon was cheesy. An experimental nuclear reactor that has the potential to be a nuclear weapon underneath a major city though....really?

Just got back from Prometheus. I have to say my expectations about the plot were at zero after reading the reviews. I was pleasantly surprised. The cinimatography (sp?) and effects were top notch. The 3-d was done very well, and in no was cheasy. The complaints about plot were overblown. The movie w...

If you're not a collector of originals, it's nicer to have a fresh one. Watch out of knockoffs though. This one is a knockoff: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Transforms-Au...

Is this the same guy who decided to start pronouncing "Lieutenant" as "Left-tenant"? Nah, but he may have been related to the guy who changed the spelling from the archaic French luef to the modern French lieu. And we only have one "t" in our pronunciation of it. ;) Ahh so it's just my uncivilized ...

On the topic of weird pronounciations, perhaps someone can explain to me how "Leicester" becomes "Lester". The same way Bicester became "Bister" and Worcester became "Wuh-ster." Ie anybody who ever knew how/why is dead, but at least they were consistent with it. Is this the same guy who decided to ...

On the topic of weird pronounciations, perhaps someone can explain to me how "Leicester" becomes "Lester". For the record, Canadians do pronounce Craig properly, but not Graham. Our pronounciation of Graham is not quite Gram, but not quite proper either. If you listen closely you get hints of both. ...

When deciding whether or not to quit, you should definitely look at how loyal the company has been to you. 1) What are you chances to move ahead at this company? 2) If for whatever reason, you became unprofitable to the company, would they simply cut you loose? The Canadian missus does this too Canadians do say Graham as Gram, but we most certainly do not pronoounce Craig as Creg. Also, do British people really want to get into a battle about random pronunciations? If you want to call it "Lester", you're going to have to drop a syllable in there somewhere.

That is correct. In the UK the value in practice is about £30.00, anything over that and customs may open it and will hold it for a while whilst they calculate how much tax and duty fee you should pay.
